The events of the Ministry of Energy of Russia "Industry. TEK-2011".
During four days in St. Petersburg, the most important issues of the development of the fuel and energy complex of Russia were discussed - the innovative potential of the industry, the development of the electric power industry and coal industry, the development of energy in the Far East, energy conservation and energy–saving technologies, international cooperation in the energy sector, issues of training modern personnel for the fuel and energy complex of Russia. A joint session of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation was held on the prospects for the development of alternative energy and bioenergy in Russia.
The panel sessions and discussions were attended by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation S.I. Shmatko, Deputy Ministers of Energy of the Russian Federation S.I. Kudryashov, A.N. Shishkin, A.A. Yanovsky, Yu.P. Sentyurin. Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and President of the Russian Gas Society V.A. Yazev, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency Nobuo Tanaka, Head of the Department of Economics, Trade and Agriculture of the Permanent Mission of the EU in Russia Timo Hammaren spoke about the problems and prospects for the development of international cooperation and the EU-Russia energy dialogue during the events.
